  Synopsis    

     John is the Roman who pierced Jesus as he hung on the cross. Cursed to live forever because of the horrendous act, John becomes a killer-for-hire and drug addict while struggling to live eternity in his hell on earth. But when a vampire kills innocent women and lays them on a Priest's doorstep, John "The Roman" decides this might be the best chance to earn him the right to die.

     He cleans up his act to hunt for the killer. As he watches over the next potential victim, in hope of ending the killings, John discovers that no number of good deeds wins salvation; its letting go of his hate that will make him mortal.
